Connecting Creative Communities
ACT UP! Theatrical Read Event, a groundbreaking initiative that places a spotlight on the invaluable role writers play in the entertainment industry. This program offers writers a platform to rigorously flesh out and test their greenlit projects, ensuring they know precisely what is working or not working in their scripts. Additionally, the event extends its support to actors, providing them with a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and connect with industry professionals. The program underscores the writers' current efforts to hire industry professionals, both above and below the line, to bring their visions to life.

META FILM WORKS (MFW) is a transformative program under Harlem Film House, a 501(c)(3) corporation, designed to empower and uplift the Upper Manhattan community in Harlem.
