Shawn Antoine II
Shawn Antoine II is a documentary and experimental filmmaker from Harlem whose work explores memory, identity, spirituality, and the preservation of underrepresented Black histories. Drawing from personal experience, archival research, and innovative storytelling techniques, he creates films that center on community, family legacy, and cultural memory.
He earned his master’s degree in Documentary Media from Northwestern University. His Industry experience includes work supporting producers and directors on major productions such as The Penguin (HBO Max), The Blacklist (NBC), and Really Love (Netflix).
