PRINCE SPRAUVE

Prince Sprauve is a filmmaker, director, and educator originally from Brooklyn, New York, whose passion for storytelling grew after relocating to Schenectady, where he began creating films rooted in community, struggle, and hope. In 2013, he premiered his first feature film at Proctors Theatre alongside more than 150 students and community collaborators, helping launch a career that includes films such as Fast Life, Make It Home, Cradle, The Last Shot, and The Walls.
As the founder of Quiet On Set LLC and Director of Media at the SEAT Center, he has trained and mentored emerging filmmakers while producing projects that blend cinematic storytelling with workforce development and social impact. His latest film, SEAT At The Table, continues that mission through a powerful story of grief, brotherhood, and redemption created alongside the next generation of filmmakers.
