Antoine McLaurin is a Harlem-born filmmaker and director driven by emotionally grounded, character-driven stories about people fighting to define themselves in environments that expect them to fail. His debut short film, Out Of Bounds, is a psychological urban drama following two men whose shared history, built on ambition, pride, and emotional misunderstanding, finally fractures in a single confrontation on a New York City basketball court.

McLaurin is drawn to stories of resilience and willpower forged under pressure, and to flawed, deeply human characters navigating institutions, authority, and expectation while searching for purpose and self-worth.
