Jade Charon Robertson is an award-winning choreographer and dance filmmaker whose work centers Black embodied storytelling through movement, film, and sound.

Her films, including Recharge, have been featured in festivals such as the Pan African Film Festival and recognized by platforms like Dance Magazine and PBS SoCal. As the Artistic Director of By Jade Charon Company, she creates interdisciplinary dance films that explore identity, healing, and the African diaspora.

She is also an Associate Professor of Dance at The City University of New York, Hunter College, where she integrates filmmaking and emerging technologies into dance education and performance.
