Kevin Schreck

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kevin Schreck is an award- winning documentary filmmaker and film educator currently living and working in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 23, Kevin released his first major feature-length documentary, Persistence of Vision (2012), which screened at nearly 100 international film festivals and other institutions on five continents to virtually universal acclaim. Kevin's subsequent films include the artist biography, Tangent Realms: The Worlds of C.M. Kösemen (2018), the New York-based The Duck of New York (2023), and Antarctic Voyage (2024), an award-winning science adventure filmed on a biological research to a remote Antarctic island. His latest film, Enongo (2025), is a musical biographical documentary, and the first feature-length film in history with an animation team composed entirely of Black women animators.
