In the ‘90s PAOLO FAZZINI was founder and member of Menti Criminali, one of the first Italian rap crews.
As a television writer he has created and developed several shows for Italy's leading broadcasters, including Rai (Art Rider, Nuovi Eroi), La7 (L'Altra Metà del Crimine, Linea Gialla), Sky (Camorriste), Discovery (Il Cacciatore di Anoressiche), and for the American television channel A&E (Crime: Crossing the Line).
As a director he made his feature debut in 2012, with Mad in Italy (U.S.A. distribution Elite Ent.). He also made many documentaries, including titles as Hanging Shadow – Italian Horror Cinema (2006), Che il Mio Grido Giunga a Te (2014), and All'Assalto – Le Radici del Rap Italiano (2017), released on Amazon Prime Video. His most recent, Assalti Frontali – A tale of Resistance was released theatrically in 2024.
In 2022 he published his debut novel, Family Biz.

FRANCESCO PRINCIPINI is an Italian filmmaker and cinematographer whose work explores the intersection of visual storytelling, memory, and reality. Moving seamlessly between directing and cinematography, he has developed a distinctive cinematic language shaped by documentary practice.
As a director, he created the archaeology television series “Art Rider”, broadcasted on RAI, reimagining cultural heritage through a contemporary cinematic lens. As Director of Photography, he has worked on internationally distributed documentaries, including “Genova: Cronologia di un disastro” for National Geographic, as well as productions for Amazon Prime Video, Sky Arte. His films are driven by an intimate, observational approach, where visual composition and human experience become central elements of the narrative.
